I know I јυѕt qυеѕtіοnеԁ thіѕ bυt I realized people аrе nοt looking іn thе rіɡht рƖасе οn thе picture. I included аn outline οf whаt I аm talking аbουt аnԁ one іѕ thе real picture.

I wеnt tο Ripley’s Believe іt οr Nοt Museum іn St. Augustine Florida. Thеrе wаѕ a double murder thеrе аnԁ a fire οn thе top floor. Thеу hаνе аƖƖ sorts οf odd things thеrе such аѕ thіѕ 1/12 model οf a kinex ferris wheel. I took a picture οf іt аnԁ іt looks Ɩіkе a transparent being іѕ floating іn thе middle. Whаt ԁο уου rесkοn? Thе οthеr rooms hаԁ lots οf “orbs” floating around іn thеm іn mу pictures.

THIS IS IN NOOOO WAY ALTERED IN PHOTOSHOP οr аnу οthеr editing program. I took thе photo fοr myself аnԁ I SWEAR thіѕ іѕ nοt a joke. I promise. It іѕ straight frοm mу camera onto thе internet. I’m sure thеrе wіƖƖ always bе skeptics out thеrе though.

I CALLED RIPLEYS аnԁ thеу ѕаіԁ thаt thеrе іѕ іn nο way shape οr form anything thаt resembles a mannequin οr wax figure thеrе.
I ԁο appreciate thе million dough man contributions. I wаѕ wondering іf anyone сουƖԁ сƖаrіfу whу thе figure looks Ɩіkе іt hаѕ affect tο іt аnԁ thе million dough man ԁοеѕ nοt? I’m hοnеѕtƖу curious bесаυѕе thіѕ photograph hаѕ bееn bothering mе a lot. (аnԁ yes, thеrе hаνе bееn people bу now accusing mе οf altering thе photo bυt I hаνе nοt іn аnу way)

Hey that’s weird! I love it!
I don’t know if it is a ghost but there is definitely something there!
Do you know much about the history of the building where this was taken?

Well given that Ripley’s is a museum I’d speculate it is a side profile picture of a mannequin or wax figure. Ripley’s is pretty good at making life like wax figures. Nice story BTW.

– I read that you called them but I don’t know. They are in the business of “mystery” and they may have told you that just to make it interesting.

I am 100% certain it is a reflection from the strobe on your camera.

real picture, but not a ghost, look at the pagota (asian building) on the right, now the ghost is an asian statue, so your farris wheel is mixed in with a couple of asain artifacts, ewwwwww scary asain statue.

and here is the proof, drum roll please…………….click
http://youtube.com/watch?v=e2nfPqZlfWU

chris l, you are wrong about 2nd floor thing, look at the size of struts, if it was taken at the 2nd floor you would be looking directly across the axel of the wheel.

konabear, its time to tell the truth, it has been fun, but the million dollar man is no ghost, you know it. i do commend you on this, though. you have really shown how easy it is to make a fake ghost picture. it is so convient for people to beleive in ghost when science and reality require too much thinking. your question has also shown the power of the internet, with all these pictures and videos on the web, reality and truth are just a click away. peace konabear, your cool in my book, -P.wall

I believe that this is a real picture. I believe that there is such things as ghost, and orbs. The reason you can not see ghosts or orbs with the bare naked eye, is that they live on a higher frequency level than us, which means bassically, in simple terms, that they are moving very very very fast. Digital cameras that are good can catch them, because they are on nearly the same frequency. I have much much more info on this stuff, because my grandma goes to a special school that is all about other dimensions, past life’s, and spirits, like the one you seem to have cuaght on film! Good job!

Email me if you want.

I think you better give P.wall the ten points. He proved it was a fake. You can’t even see through the “person.”

P. Wall is right. If you click his link, you will see what he’s talking about.

Now you know why the haunted mansion at Disney parks don’t allow flash photography. You just got a picture of your relection on a window.

The ghost called flare has struck again! With the material in which the subject matter of your picture is made of, metal, it is highly reflective of light. When the flash of your camera went off, it was reflected off of the metal of the ferris wheel giving you an area in which your highlights are blown out, and also creating a light source now directly in front of your camera to produce lens flare.

Does P. Wall realize that Konabear’s photo was taken from the floor above and not the floor that the youtube video shows with the statue?

There is actually no statue on the second floor and you can see that there is no statue if you look up to the window that the photograph looks out to.

I did notice it right off the bat, but honestly its very close to your flash and I can see the reflection of that clearly, I think it must be a shadow of something else. I don’t believe in ghosts. I believe in spirits, but I honestly just think you are getting your hopes up too much.

Sorry to say but there is nothing supernatural about that photo unless you consider the statue of the “million dollar man” supernatural. I have been there and have seen this so called ghost myself. Below are some photos to rectify the ignorance of the Ripleys believe it or not employees who have helped to spawn a mystery which shouldnt be.

I couldn’t see it on my monitor but after adjusting the levels it is clearly visible. This is definitely a mannequin!

After taking your picture into Adobe Elements and using 75% smart fix to lighten it, I put a 4.0 high pass filter overlay on it to sharpen it and now you can clearly see it is the “Million Dollar Man” statue.

So if Ripley’s lies about this, what else do they lie about?

Hey,
I run a paranormal site too and I’ve made a post about your picture here. I can show you that it isn’t floating and I believe it’s just a statue. There is, however, something else interesting behind it which I have mentioned in my post.

If you’ll allow it I’ve included a direct link to the entry here:

I don’t think its a ghost at all! I did a close up and it looks more like a wax figure. And it’s not looking at you its looking straight ahead. It seems its wearing like a hooded jacket. Sorry. Not a ghost to me..and I do believe in ghosts.

Ghosts are real. Both my aunt and mom have had experienced it. My aunt has sent me a photo today which made me want to research, of my dead family members faces in the floor, when you hold the phone up you can see them. Freakiest thing ever. Once a couple months ago, It was 4am and there was something rubbing my back really hard. I couldnt hear or see nothing and went with my mom.

I really do have a ghost in my home. He mainly hangs out in a certain area, however he is not adverse to coming in my room at night and pressing on my down comforter right next to , but not touching my feet, enough to wake me up. My son and I have both seen him, or at least part of him,. As I was shocked into silence staring at him, unable to speak, he all of a sudden looked at me, kind of made an “O” with his mouth, than he turned into vapor and disappeared into the room he usually hangs out in. This guy is very noisy and scares the hell out of me and I want him removed. Anyone know how? I am a widow on social security so money is scarce.
